McDonald's Latin America adds Minions to menu

Minions Mania has arrived at Arcos Dorados, aka McDonald's in Latin America, as the new Minions movie premieres across all of Latin America this week

Minions Mania has arrived at Arcos Dorados, AKA McDonald's in Latin America, as the new Minions movie premiered this month across all of Latin America, according to a company press release.

"The Minions have brought laughter and fun to kids all over the world. As a family restaurant, we wanted to bring the family to enjoy Minions Mania in Latin America" said Raúl Mandía, VP of marketing at Arcos Dorados.

McDonald's is offering a Happy Meals toy collection featuring the Minions, represented by 14 distinctive characters. In addition, adults and kids can order from a special Minions menu that will vary by country. All countries will have banana flavored desserts, a favorite of all Minions, according to the release. Customers can also order French Fries shaped as Minions and McNuggets in Minions-themed packaging.
