McDonald’s launches Mario Bros.-themed Happy Meals

McDonald’s restaurants in Los Angeles celebrated the brand’s partnership with Nintendo of America and Mario Bros.-themed Happy Meal program last week. Kids were invited to ride through a McDonald’s drive-thru on their Mario Kart Ride On vehicles and were handed Happy Meals by Mario and Luigi.

Nintendo is celebrating the recently released Mario Kart 8 game for the Wii U console by partnering with McDonald's nationwide to include themed toys in its Happy Meal program. The program began on July 4 and is available while supplies last in stores until July 31, according to a news release.
