McDonald's McCafe adds some caffeinated incentive to 'Ditch your Resolution' day

McDonald's retail coffee product, McCafé at Home is working with actor, Mark Consuelos to launch the  brand's Brew Happier Mobile, an interactive experience vehicle that provides a daily dose of optimism in the form of a cup of coffee. A news release said the java-mobile debuts on Jan. 17, "Ditch your New Year's resolution day" at Chicago's Richard J. Daley Center, a news release said. 

The Mobile will be at the center all day, then also through the late afternoon of Jan. 18, to give Chicago residents free coffee and a face-to-face with Consuelos. 

Also on Jan. 18, one person in Chicago will win a ride to work in the Brew Happier Mobile, which the brand will promote with a special hashtag and ongoing updates on social media.

"The Brew Happier Mobile was designed to remind us to stay positive and make time for small moments — because it's those moments that give us the power to take on the day's challenges, including our new resolutions," Senior Director of McCafé Brand Strategy Elina Veksler said in the release.
