McDonald's McCafé coffee will be available at grocery stores throughout Canada this month. According to Reuters, the retail line is part of the chain's strategy to gain ground on Tim Hortons and Starbucks in that market.
McCafé debuted in Canada in 2011. McDonald's CEO John Betts told the publication that McDonald's has since doubled its market share in the coffee segment.
"Everyone is scrambling for customers," he said.
