McDonald's offerng payroll cards to employees

September 19, 2012

McDonald's USA has selected FSV Payment Systems Inc. to be its provider of payroll card services for all of McDonald's company-owned restaurants. The PaycheckPLUS Elite Visa Payroll Card, issued by Comerica Bank, will be offered to more than 80,000 employees at McDonald's restaurants throughout the country.

"As a leading provider of prepaid card products and processing services, we feel that McDonald's USA's selection of FSV is an endorsement of FSV's leadership in creating tailored pay card solutions with a focus on maximizing electronic wage settlement," said FSV CEO Rick Savard.

FSV and McDonald’s USA are working together to create a payroll card program specifically for employees of McDonald’s U.S. company-owned restaurants that delivers both value and a suite of card features, including a cash back rewards program, text/email notifications and access to money quicker than paper checks, as well as providing a resource for basic financial literacy. The cards can be used everywhere that VISA and debit cards are accepted.

"With the help of FSV, we’re offering a pay card that elevates the employment experience for our restaurant employees and simplifies administration for our restaurant managers,” said Michael Nicholas, McOpCo HR Officer.
