McDonald's offers ‘Spiderwick Chronicles' toys

CHICAGO — Through March 13, participating McDonald's restaurants are offering eight character figurines and a Seeing Stone from "The Spiderwick Chronicles" Happy Meal collection, the movie by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.

The Seeing Stone monocle contains a holographic image, which is revealed when looking through it into the light in the toy, marking the first time that this technology has been used in a Happy Meal toy.
