McDonald's plans late summer rollout for Angus burger
April 19, 2009
Chicago Business: McDonald's Corp. is preparing to launch its long-awaited one-third-pound Angus burger late this summer. A company memo to franchisees obtained by Crain's said the chain will begin the national rollout of the new hamburger — its first in eight years — by August and will feature the new sandwich in its Monopoly promotion in October.
McDonald's has tweaked the Angus burger for two years in test markets in California, New York and Columbus, Ohio.
