McDonald's promotes supply chain VP

OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald's USA has announced the promotion of Dan Gorsky to senior vice president, North America supply chain management. Gorsky, most recently vice president for supply chain management, McDonald's USA, is now responsible for food and paper purchases for more than 15,000 McDonald's restaurants in the United States and Canada.
 
Under Gorsky, McDonald's supply chain management is responsible for food safety and quality assurance, supply chain sustainability, new product commercialization, risk management and sourcing supply for existing and new menu items for McDonald's more than 15,000 North America restaurants.
 
A 15-year McDonald's veteran, Gorsky holds a bachelor's degree in business-economics from Benedictine University in Illinois.
