McDonald's restaurants in Northern California and Northern Nevada will kick off the school year by offering a free breakfast to students in kindergarten through eighth grade on Sept. 9 from 6:30-9:30 a.m.
Students less than 13 years of age are required to be accompanied by an adult when visiting a participating McDonald's restaurant.
Students can receive an Egg White Delight McMuffin, apple slices and 1 percent low fat milk, free of charge.
"McDonald's is strongly committed to the well-being of children. As we mark the beginning of the new school year, we are excited to provide students a free wholesome breakfast to help them start their day off right," Gino Potesta, VP and general manager, Pacific Sierra Region, said in a news release.
