McDonald's announced this week that customers and employees will need to wear masks inside the restaurant in areas with high COVID-19 transmission, regardless of whether the individual is vaccinated, according to a report by Reuters.

This is in response to a surge in COVID-19 cases due to the Delta variant and updated guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

Other companies such as Google, Uber and Facebook are requiring all employees to be vaccinated to enter their offices.
