McDonald's warns Detroit eatery of trademark infringment

WDIV-TV: A McDonald's lawyer has sent a strongly worded letter to a Detroit eatery named Nicky-D's Coney Island warning of trademark infringement. The owner said he named his two restauarants, which specialize in corned beef, after his nephew Nicholas.
The store's logo is yellow, and the N looks like it could be the letter M with part of the first curl missing. The interior seats feature a red and yellow decor. The owner said the similarities have nothing to do with McDonald's.
