Mmmm! Starbucks does black-and-slimy UK offering

Black with green slime may not be the description just about any caffeine-seeking thirsty soul would seek, but that is indeed the description of U.K. Starbuck's new Halloween-based Phantom Frappuccino, according to a report on Delish.com. 

The dark-side drink is also vegan, according to the report as it uses no animal products. What it does include is coconut milk, mango and pineapple essence, along with Starbucks crème Frappuccino syrup.

Oh, and that "lime slime" afloat in this dark cloud of a drink? That's a combination of spirulina extract (actually a blue-green algae), charcoal powder, lime and lemon juice. And if U.K. consumers really want to go all in on this thing, they can order the optional dark coconut whipped cream on top, made from coconut milk and black charcoal powder.

The catch in all this is that slimey drinks naturally slide away very quickly. Starbucks is only offering the drink in the U.K. and only until Oct. 26 for this very limited, limited time offering. Starbucks did a similar super-short weird drink offering with great success two years ago with its Unicorn frappaccino.
