Nathan's Famous honors Boys & Girls Club of Fort Worth

Nathan's Famous, along with NASCAR driver Aric Almirola at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, honored the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth (Texas) and COO Jim Larkin for being leaders in the community and making active play possible.

Nathan's Famous, along with NASCAR driver Aric Almirola at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, honored the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth (Texas) and COO Jim Larkin for being leaders in the community and making active play possible, the company announced.

Almirola surprised Larkin with a $1,000 H-E-B gift card towards the purchase of free groceries, courtesy of Nathan's Famous, as part of the Ready. Set. PLAY. initiative with national non-profit KaBOOM!.

Richard Petty Motorsports team greeted Larkin and four kids from the Boys & Girls Club at the race track and escorted them to the garage area to meet the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winner. Almirola then surprised the group with the $1,000 gift card and enabled the group to watch him race in the Duck Commander 500.

The Ready. Set. PLAY. initiative is a partnership created in 2014 by Nathan's Famous with KaBOOM!. to celebrates play and local leaders making active play possible in communities across the nation.
