Nearly 90 McDonald's Venezuela restaurants shut down

Seniat, the national tax authority in Venezuela, has ordered the closure of 89 McDonald's restaurants throughout the country for three days.

According to Bloomberg, the mandate was made because of inadequate bookkeeping. No further information is available.

The 89 franchised restaurants are operated by Cia. Operativa de Alimentos COR CA.
