Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip has opened its first Kentucky location at 867 S. Broadway, Suite 110, in Lexington.
On Sat. Oct. 29, the location celebrated its grand opening with bounce houses, and a "cookie cutting ceremony" during the day as well as a live DJ and a Halloween costume contest for college students at night.
"We like to think of our cafes as a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life, and a great meeting spot for friends, families and on-the-go shoppers. And that's exactly what you'll find at our new Lexington cafe," said Shawnon Bellah, COO for franchisor Crest Foods, Inc., in a release.
The location is co-owned by Islam Masoud and Sami Shalash.
