New Jon Smith Subs owner to expand chain worldwide

Central Florida is getting a taste of the previously South Florida-centric brand, Jon Smith Subs, at its newest location in Oviedo. The store opened this week on Aloma Avenue under the direction of franchisees Troy and Tina Ather. 

The  29-year-old Jon Smith Subs concept was recently acquired by United Franchise Group in West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to the Oviedo store, the brand currently has nine Palm Beach County locations, but the new owners plan to expand  worldwide, according to a press release.
