New partnership gives restaurants traceability tool to ensure regulatory compliance

FoodLogiQ and WQS Food Verification are partnering to pair auditing with cloud-based supplier management and traceability in a single platform to help restaurateurs stay in compliance with increasing numbers of regulations and other industry demands. 

According to a news release, WQS will use FoodLogiQ Connect to schedule, track, perform and review more than 20,000 inspections they conduct annually worldwide. Within FoodLogiQ’s Manage+Monitor module, restaurateurs can work with WQS to audit services and track facility audit progress and certifications online in real time. They can also review their suppliers' and suppliers' suppliers' certification process.  

"It really is an amazing tool that will allow us to capture audits on a mobile device in the field, sync them with our customer's FoodLogiQ Connect community, and give our customers complete visibility into the status of the audits and certification process we are conducting for them," said WQS COO and Business Development Director Matt Regusci, in a news release. "We're excited to be working with FoodLogiQ to make the chaotic global supply chain more organized and transparent."

WQS auditing services cover all major government and industry accreditations as well as major restaurant corporate food safety standards.
