NexCen announces board member resignation

NEW YORK — NexCen Brands Inc. has announced that Jack Rovner has resigned from its board of directors effective Aug. 29, 2008. Rovner was elected director of the company on Oct. 31, 2006, and is co-owner and partner of Vector Management, a musical artist management company.
NexCen acquires and manages global brands, generating revenue through licensing and franchising. Its five quick-service restaurants brands are Marble Slab Creamery, MaggieMoo's, Pretzel Time, Pretzelmaker, and Great American Cookies.
