NexCen appoints new chief development officer

ATLANTA—NexCen Franchise Management, a subsidiary of NexCen Brands, Inc., has promoted Martin Amschler, former executive vice president of international development, to the position of chief development officer for NexCen Franchise Management, the company announced. Amschler will oversee all sales and development efforts both domestic and abroad, and will be supported in his new role by recent additions and appointments to the development team.
Supporting Martin Amschler with domestic sales is Pam Price, who joined NexCen Franchise Management on Oct. 20 as vice president of domestic development. Price has more than 15 years of experience in franchising. For international sales and development Amschler will be supported by Benjamin Simon, director of development, Europe and Africa; Dan Benton, director of development, APAC and Middle East; and Michael Murphy, who was recently appointed to director of development, Latin America.
NexCen Brands quick service brands include Great American Cookies, MaggieMoo's, Marble Slab Creamery, Pretzelmaker and Pretzel Time.
