NexCen Brands promotes Slover to VP of development

NexCen Brands Inc. has announced the promotion of Jerry Slover to vice president of development, NexCen Franchise Management Inc. Under Slover's direction, the company's franchise sales and development initiatives will now be aligned with real estate and construction under one department. NexCen Brand's portfolio of quick-service concepts includes Great American Cookies, MaggieMoo's, Marble Slab Creamery, Pretzelmaker and Pretzel Time.
 
Slover, 39, has more than 21 years of retail experience, including apparel and footwear. Since joining NexCen in November 2006, Slover most recently served as vice president of design, construction and real estate and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the company. Since 1993, Slover worked with TAF, previously known as The Athlete's Foot, and held various managerial roles in sales, training, construction and real estate.
