NRA offering free eCertificates for SafeServe training products

The National Restaurant Association is now offering complimentary eCertificates for the ServSafe suite of training products, including ServSafe Manager, Food Handler, Allergens and Alcohol.

The National Restaurant Association is now offering complimentary eCertificates for the ServSafe suite of training products, including ServSafe Manager, Food Handler, Allergens and Alcohol, the company said in an announcement.

The eCertificates meet American National Standards Institute requirements for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, the announcement said, and provide students and proctors instant access to certificates after exams are graded.

"Offering flexible options that best meet the needs of our customers is always top-of-mind as we continually strive to enhance our ServSafe training programs," said Senior Vice President Sherman Brown, ServSafe Business and Financial Strategy for the National Restaurant Association, in a statement. "We are excited to offer eCertificates that will now provide instant access to ServSafe certifications."

New features allow students to print or reprint their eCertificate directly from ServSafe.com for no charge. The addition of a QR code provides improved security and verifies each certificate's validity.
