National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show and the Craft Beverage Expo announced a partnership uniting Influencers from both organizations to speak at their respective events, CBE and Beverage Alcohol for Restaurants (BAR) at the NRA Show, to establish communication between craft beverage producers and the restaurant industry.
The second annual Craft Beverage Expo on May 6-8 in Santa Clara, California will bring together attendees and 200 exhibiting companies to network in areas other than cost and volume—a key inspiration for the NRA partnership, according to a press release.
As the director of two sessions, the NRA will lead the first, "What's in a Brand? How to Sell in Retail Chains," for producers looking into larger buying fields, and the second session, "How Do I Get My Brand Onto Restaurant Menus?" to help the smaller producer expand in local markets.
Ginger Johnson, CBE ambassador and regular CraftBeer.com contributor, is scheduled to speak at the two-day international event, May 17-18, to educate the industry on how beverage alcohol both attracts guests and enhances profits in a restaurant, foodservice and hospitality operation. Co-located with the NRA Show, which takes place May 16-19 in Chicago, the CBE hosted session will provide restaurant owners with craft trends such as mead, cider, wild and sour beers and provide guidance on how to leverage these trends to attract customers.
