Franchise development this week spans the globe, from South Korea to Indiana.

Back Yard Burgers reported the company will see new growth this year with existing franchise partners scheduled to open additional stores and deals for prospective franchise partners.

Shuwaikh, Kuwait-based Alghanim Industries and The Wendy'sCompany announced the signing of a master franchise agreement to expand the Wendy's brand in the Middle East.

Alghanim Industries acquired the rights to develop Wendy's restaurants across the Middle East North Africa region from Alamar Foods, a Saudi-based company owned jointly by Al Jammaz Group and the Carlyle Group, the announcement said. The value of the deal remains undisclosed. 

South Korean franchise bb.q, Best of the Best Quality Chicken, a fast-casual fried and grilled chicken concept, is announcing the official launch of its American franchise program at the 2015 annual International Franchise Association (IFA) convention.

Dunkin' Donuts announced the signing of multi-unit store development agreements with two existing franchise groups for 46 restaurants in Indiana over the next several years, the company said.
