Oprah gives boost to KFC grilled chicken giveaway

KFC continues to find ways to give away its new Kentucky Grilled Chicken. Following its successful UNFry Day giveaway on April 27, in which the chain gave out more than 4 million free pieces of grilled chicken, KFC has teamed up with Oprah Winfrey for another free offer.
"The Oprah Winfrey Show" Kentucky Grilled Chicken 2 Piece Meal Coupon is available at unthinkkfc.com and via a link onOprah.com. The coupon is for a free offer good for two pieces of Kentucky Grilled Chicken (manager's choice) plus two individual sides and a biscuit at participating KFC restaurants located in the Unites States, while supplies last.
The limited-time download can be accessed until 9:59 p.m. Central Daylight Time on May 6, although Oprah.com lists the cut off time at 11:59 p.m. Central time. The coupon is redeemable at participating U.S. KFC stores until May 19 — excluding Mother's Day, May 10.
Consumers are limited to four downloads of the coupon, with a limit of one offer per coupon, one coupon per person during the offer period. The coupon is valid only if downloaded from UnthinKFC.com.Oprah.com warns consumers that due to heavy demand, they may experience some slowness navigating to the Web site and includes the e-mail KFC.PublicRelations@KFC.com to notify KFC with any problems concerning the coupons.
