Pair arrested after Houston drive-thru robbery spree

KPRC2 (Houston): Houston police have arrested two people after they robbed multiple fast-food restaurants in their drive-thru lanes. Houston police said the robberies started at a Whataburger followed by a Jack-in-the-Box. The pair pulled through the line, pulled out a gun and demanded cash.The pair were caught when police set up camp outside a McDonald's.
Jesus Torres and Amanda Abbot have been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
