Panda Express rings in Lunar New Year by partnering with Nashville area schools

Panda Express has partnered with Nashville aria schools to ring in the Lunar New Year, according to a press release.

To kick off Lunar New Year celebrations the brand offered the first 50 guests at participating locations nationwide a free Let's Explore!: Lunar New Year booklet on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

The brand is also continuing its annual "Let's Explore!: Lunar New Year" curriculum for K-5 classrooms. Across the Nashville area, 129 students across three schools are participating in Panda's Let's Explore!: Lunar New Year program, a fun and educational way to introduce students to the rich history and traditions of Lunar New Year.

"Lunar New Year is rooted in optimism, generosity, and the power of coming together," Abanoub Assad, area coach of operations, said in the press release. "Here in Nashville, we're proud to celebrate the holiday by supporting local schools and helping students learn about Lunar New Year traditions, while also giving back to the communities that support Panda Express year-round."

Panda Express also brought back its Good Frtune Scratcher, a digital scratch-off game with instant prizes, Lunar New Year trivia and weekly rewards. Each week brings guests a chance to win, with one $888 gift card and eight $88 winners, a nod to the lucky number eight. The game is available from Jan. 26-Feb. 22.

Panda Express has more than 2,500 locations across the country and has a presence in 11 international countries.
