Papa Johns partnered with Deliverect to implement Deliverect's Smart Dispatch & Delivery Management platform at all U.S. restaurant locations by the end of 2027, according to a press release.
The partnership serves as a component of the company's multi-year effort to update its fulfillment technology. The Deliverect system unifies ordering channels, point-of-sale systems and delivery workflows into a single hub. This allows the company to manage orders fulfilled by both in-house drivers and third-party partners through one system.
Through this centralized platform, the company intends to track the order-to-delivery lifecycle to manage fulfillment and operational efficiency. The software automatically routes digital orders to the most appropriate fleet, whether using in-house staff, third-party services or a hybrid model. This automation removes manual handoffs and provides restaurant teams with live data on driver assignments, arrival times and performance metrics.
"As we continue to prioritize our technology evolution to deliver a better experience for our customers and our in-store team members, one key area of improvement is to optimize and simplify our delivery process. Partnering with Deliverect allows us to do exactly that," Kevin Vasconi, chief digital and technology officer at Papa Johns, said in the release.
The system is designed to provide real-time restaurant controls to manage speed and accuracy across all digital channels.
"Deliverect is a global leader in delivery management, and we know how critical it is to protect the customer experience. We're thrilled to partner with Papa Johns, a brand that has built a remarkable legacy in the U.S. around quality, innovation, and delivering great experiences to customers," Noah Hayes, VP at Deliverect, said in the release.
The implementation process will be conducted in phases, with full coverage of participating U.S. locations expected by the end of 2027.
