PAR Technology Corp. has launched PAR Intelligence, an artificial intelligence layer designed to automate operational tasks for multi-unit restaurant and retail operators, according to a press release.
The system functions as an integrated layer across the company's existing product ecosystem rather than a standalone tool. According to the company, the platform utilizes two decades of proprietary data, including 12 billion annual transactions and 640 million guest profiles, to power its automated functions.
Savneet Singh, CEO of PAR Technology, said the technology is intended to close the performance gap between an operator's highest and lowest performing locations.
"The average profitability gap between a multi-unit operator's best and worst stores is 3.6x, and for many brands it's even wider," Singh said in the press release. "That gap isn't about a lack of data or tools — it's about execution. Operators know what their best stores are doing differently, but scaling those learnings across hundreds or thousands of locations is incredibly hard. Most AI in our industry stops at insights or recommendations. PAR Intelligence goes further — it executes."
The initial rollout includes three specific applications: an Insights Agent to identify performance gaps, an Offers Agent to manage marketing campaigns, and a Developer Assist Agent to help technical teams with integrations.
The company stated it plans to expand the platform in the coming months with additional agents designed to manage broader commercial operations.
