ParTech buys 3M drive-thru tech company

Restaurant POS and technology provider, ParTech, Inc, has acquired Drive-Thru Communication Systems from its previous owner, 3M.

"We are incredibly excited to invest in the business and make it a core focus for its future," Par CEO Savneet Singh, said in a news release about the acquisition. "We are committed to the product line and believe additional investment will benefit customers and distributors greatly." 

3M and Par are working jointly to make the transition in ownership smooth, with minimum customer disruption. Drive-Thru Communication Systems makes wireless headsets and intercom systems for restaurant order and pickup window service.
