Peter Wolf, ParTech's vice president of marketing and business development, said the initiative also was developed to help restaurant operators communicate with post-recession and social-media savvy consumers who are looking to feel more valued as customers.
"A majority of conversations between consumers and restaurant operators happen outside of the four walls of the restaurant," he said.
And with so many conversations taking place via social media and other outlets, "operators need flexibility to react to all of this information," Wolf said. "There's also an issue of technology to support that flexibility."
To help facilitate closing the bridge of communication, ParTech also has introduced its EverServe family of point-of-sale solutions.
The EverServ suite is a main component of PAR's Boundless Hospitality program and includes the EverServe POS QSR software suite and EverServ 2000 POS terminal. The terminal joins PAR's EverServ 6000 and Kiosk family, a lower-cost solution featuring the smallest footprint in the PAR offering.
