PDQ Long Island store features double drive-thru lane

PDQ, a chicken restaurant, has opened its second location on Long Island, New York and the store features the brand's first double drive-thru lane.

The brand (PDQ stands for People Dedicated to Quality) opened is first Long Island store three years ago in Farmingdale. The second store is located in Westbury, according to a press release.

Dean Poll and Thomas J. Fanning, Sr. are the franchise operators of both locations.

The Westbury location, at 1236 Old Country Road, offers curbside pick-up, in-restaurant dining, as well as catering. It is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Outback Steakhouse co-founder Bob Basham and MVP Holdings CEO Nick Reader are the two principal owners of PDQ. On Oct. 30, 2011, the original PDQ restaurant opened its doors in Tampa, Florida and the concept has more than 60 locations in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey and New York.
