La Granja, a QSR specializing in Peruvian food, is up to more than 50 stores in the state of Florida, and the company said in a news release that sales were still growing across the Sunshine State.
In south Florida's Broward County — which includes Fort Lauderdale — the company is seeing a surge of interest in its boneless chicken breast with rice, beans and bananas as well as its grilled skinless boneless chicken sandwiches. The menu offerings have triggered an uptick in Sunday traffic, according to the release. Other popular choices include the native dish of Loma Saltado as well as sides like fried plantains, all available for dine-in, curbside or delivery.
La Granja opened in the early 1990s, and most locations are on the Atlantic Ocean side of South Florida.
