Philippine court upholds McDonald's trademarks

Marketwatch: The Philippine Supreme Court has upheld the right of McDonald's Corp. to protect its trademarks from infringement by a restaurant company in that country. The court overturned a 2004 appeals court ruling that allowed Cebu-based MacJoy Fastfood Corp. to trademark the phrase "MacJoy & Device."
