Pizza Hut franchisee closes acquisition of 13 more Wendy's

A week after completing its acquisition of 24 Wendy's restaurants, Pizza Hut's largest franchisee NPC International has closed on 13 more units.

NPC completed the acquisition of 13 Wendy's restaurants for $11.0 million, plus amounts for working capital. This acquisition was funded entirely with available cash on hand. The restaurants will be owned and operated by NPC's wholly-owned subsidiary, NPC Quality Burgers Inc.

NPC International, Inc. is the largest Pizza Hut franchisee, with 1,245 Pizza Hut units in 28 states.
