Pizza Hut has launched a national campaign alongside Pepsi and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, aiming to remind football fans that "gameday starts with the Hut," according to a press release.
The campaign centers around the word "hut," the traditional cadence called by quarterbacks before the snap. As part of the promotion, Pizza Hut is offering fans the chance to win free pizza for life. Participants can enter by uploading a video of themselves saying "hut" at pizzahut.com/gamedaystartswithhut, along with a brief explanation of why their game day starts with the pizza chain.
The brand also introduced a trio of tailgate-focused menu additions, available now at participating locations nationwide for a limited time:
"Josh Allen is exactly the kind of quarterback we want in our corner on gameday," Melissa Friebe, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut U.S., said in the release. "He brings the energy, the personality and, of course, plenty of 'Huts' to the field. This season, we're bringing that same spirit to QBs everywhere — from the pros to the person who always calls the plays, runs the tailgate and makes sure the pizza gets there. Every gameday has a QB, and Pizza Hut is sponsoring them all."
The menu items are available in-store, online and via the Pizza Hut mobile app.
