Police kill KFC hostage-taker

Courier Mail (Australia): Shanghai police shot and killed a knife-wielding man who took a four-year-old girl hostage in a KFC outlet in the city. The man seized the girl after her mother left her in the restaurant's play area while she went to the counter to buy food.
