Popeye's appoints Lowe's CEO to Board of Directors

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc., the franchisor and operator of Popeyes restaurants, today announced the appointment of S. Kirk Kinsell to its Board of Directors.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc., the franchisor and operator of Popeyes restaurants, today announced the appointment of S. Kirk Kinsell to its Board of Directors.

Kinsell brings more than 35 years of experience in hospitality and was recently named Chief Executive Officer of Loews Hotels & Resorts. His 19 years at Intercontinental Hotel Group include various senior level positions, most recently president, Americas, a position responsible for 3,700 hotels.

"Kirk is ideally suited to join our Board of Directors as we focus our efforts on talent development processes and systems designed to deliver a guest experience as distinctive as our food," said Cheryl Bachelder, chief executive officer of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, in the announcement. "For more than three decades as a leader in the competitive hospitality industry, Kirk has achieved impressive results."
