Popeyes Butterfly Shrimp Tackle Box back through March

Popeye's is pushing it seafood to the fore during its Seafood Mardi Gras promotion, which continues through March 29.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen's famous Butterfly Shrimp Tackle Boxis part of its Seafood Mardi Gras play through March 29.

The Butterfly Shrimp Tackle Box includes eight premium butterfly shrimp, Cajun fries, a biscuit and dipping sauce for $4.99.

"While other restaurants only dabble in seafood, at Popeyes, seafood is in our DNA. We're throwing open the kitchen doors with premium, Louisiana-style seafood offers," said Popeyes Chief Marketing Officer-U.S. Hector A. Munoz in a company press release "Our guests know they can trust Popeyes to bring our culinary heritage and expertise to the table every time and we have prepared a Seafood Mardi Gras celebration with something for everyone!"

Other Seafood Mardi Gras offerings include:

Cajun Surf and Turf - 2 Handcrafted Tenders, 4 Butterfly Shrimp, Cajun fries, biscuit and two signature dipping sauces

1/4 Lb. Popcorn Shrimp – Quarter pound serving of Popcorn Shrimp, a Signature Side, biscuit and a dipping sauce

Cajun Fish – 3 Fish Filets, a Signature Side, biscuit and a dipping sauce (at participating locations)

Fish and Popcorn Shrimp – 2 Fish Filets combined with Popcorn Shrimp, Cajun fries, biscuit and dipping sauce

Popeyes is also adding a new Blueberry 'n Lemon Cream Cheese Pie to its menu.
