Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen today announced the launch of its new Buttermilk Biscuit Butterfly Shrimp, available now through Nov. 30.
The offering includes eight pieces of Popeyes' signature butterfly shrimp, marinated in Louisiana seasonings and dipped in buttermilk biscuit batter, then fried and served with Cajun fries, a buttermilk biscuit and Blackened Tartar Dipping Sauce for $4.99.
"Our melt-in-your-mouth buttermilk biscuits and Louisiana-inspired butterfly shrimp have kept guests coming into Popeyes for years and it was time to bring them together," CMO Hector A. Munoz said in a news release. "Once again, we are offering a taste of Louisiana no one else has in a new butterfly shrimp dish that is sure to become an instant fan favorite."
The brand's Blackened Tartar Dipping Sauce features traditional tartar sauce with garlic, black pepper, red pepper and paprika.
Popeyes is introducing the LTO just in time for its annual Seafood Festival happening during the month of November.
