A session titled "Women in the Lead" will bring together two remarkable leaders in the food industry, Amy Alarcon and Jenn Johnston, to discuss their journeys, experiences and insights into leadership and innovation. Alarcon and Johnston will speak at #QSRNext, a free half-day virtual seminar for restaurant owners and executives Nov. 8.
Alarcon, the vice president of culinary innovation for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, has been instrumental in driving the restaurant's creative culinary development. Her expertise in blending flavors and enhancing menu offerings has propelled Popeyes to new heights. The once fine-dining chef will share how she flexes her creative muscle as a chef in the QSR industry and what it takes to be an effective leader.
Johnston, the CMO for FAT Brands, brings her expertise in brand management and marketing to the stage. She'll discuss the dynamic role women play in shaping a brand's identity and connecting with consumers in a fast-paced and competitive industry. Her experiences highlight the significance of inclusivity and diversity in marketing campaigns and corporate culture. FAT Brands is parent company to 18 restaurant brands, including Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Great American Cookies and Hot Dog on a Stick.
