Popeyes recently held its annual International Franchisee Conference in San Diego, where Harry Stafford, partner of Broford Corp., was named the chain's Franchisee of the Year.
Stafford's 2012 sales and transactions were positive 10.2 percent and 5.4 percent, respectively. He was also the first to reimage the majority of his units in the new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen model. The company recognized Stafford's management style, which includes monthly managers meetings at his home and recognition of achieved goals.
According to AFC Enterprises, Popeyes' parent company, Stafford is an example of "Servant Leadership," Popeyes newly introduced fifth strategic pillar, and is now teaching the principals to his managers as part of the company initiative.
Within his community, Stafford supports local sporting teams, the arts and local community events. In his hometown of Bryan, Texas, one-third of his spending goes toward community involvement.
2012 Domestic Gold Plate Award winner
Additionally, restaurant manager Regina Sullivan, franchisee John Brodersen, and the entire team at restaurant #10927 in Chicago, were given the Domestic Gold Plate Award.
In 2012, the restaurant's Metric Moving Scorecard was a perfect 5 and the percent delighted score was 92.5 percent. The year to date assessment is 102.1. Restaurant #10927 is also a Certified Training Restaurant.
2012 International Gold Plate Award winner
AAFEs, restaurant manager Johnny R. Tomlin, and the entire team at Restaurant #10663 in Grafenwoehr, Germany, earned the 2012 International Gold Plate Award.
