Popeyes UK hires 1st CMO

Popeyes UK has hired Jo Vaughton as the brand's first CMO. She begins her position in June and most recently served as marketing director for Pizza Express, according to a Marketing Week report.

Vaughton has also held roles with Celebrity Cruises and with payment platform Mollie.

"Working alongside our well-established marketing team, Jo's wealth of experience with large hospitality brands will be invaluable to Popeyes as we accelerate our growth strategy bring the brand to more customers across the UK," Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK CEO, told the outlet.

Popeyes operates more than 70 restaurants in the UK.
