Portland Trail Blazers fans get free McDonald's fries when team scores 100 points

McDonald's partnership with the Portland Trail Blazers includes a free French fry offer for fans whenever the NBA team scores 100 points during a home game. According to Oregon Live, the promotion is different from last year's offer from McDonald's, which was a free sausage McMuffin for hitting the 100-point threshold.

The promo begins Oct. 29 when the team plays Oklahoma City. Fans who are unable to attend the game can still collect the free fries at any Oregon or Southwest Washington McDonald's location via a coupon through the brand's app.

Prior to last year's McMuffin promotion, the NBA team rewarded fans with a Taco Bell Chalupa.
