Potbelly Sandwich Shop opens second Knoxville location

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is opening its second Knoxville location, this one to be located at 522 South Gay Street.

The downtown location is the second owned and operated by franchisee Mark Ray.

"It's important our brand is represented by people with a commitment to their community and entrepreneurial success. With Mark's experience at the shop at Turkey Creek and his extensive background in the restaurant industry, we are confident he'll bring our new Knoxville shop to amazing heights,” said Rick Fossali, senior director of domestic franchising for Potbelly, in a release.
