Pretzelmaker expands in New York with Poughkeepsie opening

FAT Brands-owned Pretzelmaker has opened a new location at the Poughkeepsie Galleria in Poughkeepsie, New York, marking another step in the brand's East Coast expansion, the company announced in a news release. Located in Dutchess County's largest shopping center, the new location offers Pretzelmaker's fresh-baked, hand-rolled Pretzel Bites, a variety of sweet and savory dipping sauces and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

"As we expand into new markets, we have been encouraged by the positive response from fans who are embracing the brand for the first time," Allison Lauenstein, president of Pretzelmaker, said in the release. "Our new location at the Poughkeepsie Galleria not only allows us to introduce our fresh-baked offerings to even more guests, but also marks another step in our continued expansion throughout the East Coast."

Founded in 1991 as a single pretzel stand, Pretzelmaker continues to grow its footprint under FAT Brands, which franchises and owns more than 1,700 locations worldwide across 13 restaurant brands.
