QSR brands kick off Lenten specials

Quick-service restaurant brands are ramping up their seafood and fish promotions in an effort to reel in customers during the upcoming Lenten season.
Jack in the Box restaurants are focusing on value with its promotion, offering a Fish Sandwich for the suggested price of just $1.49. The limited-time offer is available now at all participating restaurants. Jack in the Box also offers two other fish products, which remain regularly priced: Fish & Chips ($3.99) and Fish Pita Snack ($1.99).
Long John Silver's is introducing a new breaded fish offering with a sweepstakes promotion. The launch of the brand's first-ever Spin & Win Fish Fryonline sweepstakeswill celebrate the introduction of the new Crispy Breaded Pollock. Crispy Breaded Pollock features the mild flavor of Alaskan Pollock, gently rolled in a savory blend of seasoned bread crumbs for a crispy crust.
The online sweepstakes gives fans the opportunity to win $20,000 and a free printable coupon to try the new Crispy Breaded Pollock at Long John Silver's. Fans can visit and enter the Spin & Win Fish Fry online sweepstakes once a day, every day now through April 3; each daily entry offers an additional chance to win the grand prize and daily cash prizes.
Participants who register for the online sweepstakes instantly receive a free printable coupon for a piece of Crispy Breaded Pollock, the latest addition to Long John Silver's popular seafood menu. In addition to entering the online sweepstakes, participants can play the Spin & Win Fish Fry game for a chance to earn points, which can be redeemed for coupons good for Long John Silver's menu items; the more points you earn the more coupons you receive.
Customers also can sample the new Crispy Breaded Pollock the next time they visit any Long John Silver's restaurant nationwide. Free bite-sized samples will be available every day while supplies last at select Long John Silver's locations starting Feb. 15.
Captain D's Seafood Kitchen has cooked up a new shrimp recipe with Butterfly Shrimp Dippers. The featured item is 15-piece Butterfly Shrimp Dippers meal for only $4.99, served with a choice of Captain D's classic cocktail sauce or the new cool Buttermilk Ranch dipping sauce as well as the choice of two home-style sides and hush puppies. The new Shrimp Dippers are also featured in various meal combinations paired with classic hand-batter-dipped fish or crispy chicken tenders.
Dairy Queen stores are promoting the LTO Popcorn Shrimp Basket, which features lightly battered popcorn shrimp, fries, coleslaw and tangy cocktail sauce.
A&W Restaurants have brought back their 21-piece Shrimp & Fries, which also includes a hush puppy, and Pacific Cod sandwich, featured a fried fish filet, American cheese slice, lettuce and tartar sauce.
