The International Franchise Association elected its new board of directors during a meeting last week in Washington, D.C. They will assume their positions at the conclusion of the 54th IFA Annual Convention in New Orleans in February.
The new IFA directors include Carl's Jr. and Hardee's CEO Andrew F. Puzder, and Peter D. Holt, president and CEO of Tasti D-Lite.
Additionally, Guillermo Perales, president and CEO of Sun Holdings LLC, was named to the board. Sun Holdings operates nearly 400 restaurants in Texas in Florida, including the Krispy Kreme, Burger King, Popeyes, Arby's, Del Taco and CiCi's Pizza brands.
Other board members include:

"Our mission to continue to protect, enhance and promote franchising is greatly strengthened thanks to these dedicated individuals and their board peers."
