A handful of quick-service franchisees at brands including Subway and Dairy Queen have participated in a video series to endorse their Direct Capital financing program.
In a new video, Jerren Bermudez, a Subway franchisee based out of New Mexico, says Direct Capital helped him get his money fast and grow his business in a hard economy.
"I will probably use them again," he said.
Bill Hall, a multi-unit Dairy Queen owner based in Fort Worth, Texas, is featured in another video in which he applauds the work of Dairy Queen and Direct Capital for designing a custom program that helped him install Orange Julius equipment into all of his stores.
"The joint effort by Dairy Queen and Direct Capital is exactly the kind of cooperative action that franchisors, franchisees, lenders, and Congress sought with the Access to Credit Campaign for Small Businesses," said Hall, who is former chairman of the International Franchise Association's access to credit committee.
Hall said he was "thrilled with the effort by Dairy Queen to source the equipment and partner with Direct Capital to provide a cost effective, turnkey solution to busy franchisees."
Direct Capital has been a franchise lender for more than 20 years.
