FoxNews.com: A study involving more than 500,000 adolescents at middle schools and high schools in California has found that youth who attend school just a short walk from a fast-food outlet eat fewer fruit and vegetables, drink more soda and are more likely to be obese than students at other schools.
The study could not determine why fast-food restaurants near schools have such an impact, but researchers said it likely goes well beyond having access to burgers, fries and tacos.
