QSRweb to host technology panel at 2009 NRA Show

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Keeping up with emerging technology is a challenge for quick-service operators. To help, QSRweb will be hosting the panel discussion, "Which QSR Technology is Right for You?" at the 2009 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show. The panel discussion will be held May 18 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Technology Pavilion at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The panel will feature experts from five technology providers:
- Daren Haas, vice president of marketing and new business development, HME Electronics Inc., who will discuss drive-thru audio and lane-timing solutions
- Harvey Friedman, founder and president of Epicure Digital Systems, who will talk about digital signage solutions
- Scott Shaw, founder and CEO of Fishbowl, who will provide insight on e-mail marketing solutions
- Andre Nataf, business development manager of Menusoft Systems, the developer of Digital Dining POS system; Nataf will discuss POS and back of house management solutions, including handheld POS
- Alex Backer, CEO of QLess, who will discuss mobile marketing and line busting technology
Moderated by QSRweb editor Christa Hoyland, the session will include a preview of QSRweb's upcoming technology publication, "2009 QSR Technology Report." The guide will allow operators to compare at a glance the salient features of 10 QSR operations technologies.
